ABOUT THIS COURSE
This is an integrated undergraduate course covering three major components of Service Industry viz: Airlines, Tourism & Aviation sector. The uniqueness of the course lies in availability of multiple jobs opportunities in above mentioned three fields making it a job oriented course. Tourism is a recession proof industry which is largely composed of accommodation sector – Hospitality and transport mode- Aviation industry. Indian Aviation is fastest growing sector with a market size of around US$ 16 billion and is likely to become third- largest aviation market in the world by 2020. The tourism and hospitality sector is among the top 10 sectors in India to attract the highest Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).
This program focuses on all necessary aspects of travel and travel related services and equips students with the required skill set, knowledge, values and attributes to play key operational positions. Practical exposure being our prime focus supplements the course with industrial visits, guest lectures, seminars, software training and project based learning. Students are trained to get hands on experience by working on project based assignments which develop in them traits like critical thinking, team spirit and problem solving which are required to gain real understanding of corporate world.
