Service Sector has undoubtedly become the most integral part of the economic development & success of any country. The concepts of Customer Satisfaction, Loyalty and Retention have evolved with this sector only. With the advancement of service sector the large scale employment opportunities have been created. The reason for the growth of service industries is that the manufacturing sector has become automated. Goods can be created by machines but the service functions that need human interaction have gained more importance.
Under this course our students are exposed to various segments of the Service Industry namely Airlines, Tourism, Education, Event Management, Hospitality, Retail, Banks, Insurance, Health, Media & Entertainment ,etc. and management subjects like HRM, TQM, Entrepreneurship, Cross Cultural Management, etc.
Practical Exposure in the form of field visits, role plays, case studies, discussions, on the job training, etc. adds value to the course.
